Supercharger engages and disengages
When the car is at operating temperatures (in its normal warm position), the supercharger will engage and disengage randomly while cruising on the highway.
Could the IAT sensor cause this?? I am thinking I might have damaged this sensor when I was cleaning out all the stuff of built up coolant with engine cleaner spray and water.

Reason is because my pump does not leak and appears to work as intended. I can hear the pump running when the engine in on, and when the engine is shut off for the first 5 seconds. Obviously fuses are good as well.
but MAYBE
If the pump would be going out, why would the supercharger engage again? You would expect the pump to either fail running or be too weak to cool the system all together.
Yes, no reason to go happy replacing parts for no reason. There must be something causing this new phenomenal ever since this last weekend when I replaced the supercharger intercooler and all associating gaskets.
My supercharger would always stay engaged even after starting to miss fire due to coolant leaking previously into the cylinders.

i bought the bosch 010 pump a year ago for 100 bucks on amazon and had my shop guy install it for 1.5 hours of labor and it was like the car was brand new again... just added that PLM heat exchanger and it stays at 90-95 degrees consistently and been staying cool even with the early 85 degree chicago heat we had the past couple weeks.
check your pump its probably that if your getting intermittant supercharger cut out...
The previous owner had installed the two coolant valves to keep the engine coolant separate from the supercharger intercooler coolant. After installing the new sc ic, i did not open up those two coolant valves to let coolant flow into the new ic :-(
I'm glad i figured it all out before i fried my sc, ic, ic water pump, etc.
Everything is working like it should!
