Can You Play Radio/CD's w/Navigation?

Can someone confirm if you can set the Navigation for a destination and still play a CD or radio while using the Navi?

On my command system, I can listen to the radio after the destination is set, but the CD has to be played through the CD changer. The Navigation CD has to be in the head unit for navigation to work.

Cool, so you can listen to both and still have Navi functioning. Am I understanding this right?

Yes. It would be a pretty stupid design if it doesn't allow you to do so , I'd think nobody would purchase it.

off-topic but, i read somewhere that they found the female voice in the navigation was more appealing to buyers then a male voice.

Maybe with a female voice, drivers won't get as pissed when it gives you wrong directions.

I agree! But I heard that the new Acura TL's Navi (which looks to be better than the MB one) won't allow the driver to listen to a CD while it's Navigating. Which is the only flaw so I wasn't sure if MB's Navi is like that. Thank goodness it isn't!

Also, the Acura TL doesn't play MP3's! Does the C32 allow MP3 playback?

Oh no. After reading through that thread, it looks like the C32's system won't play MP3's without hooking up an external MP3 player.

So if I pop one of my burned CD's into the C32's changer, it's not going to recognize it?
