Recently, I've received a set of very elegent looking AMG catalogue. The AMG C-coupe that some of you're talking about DOES exist. Its called CL32. It has the same engine as the C32. But the thing is....it doesnt have a price tag, it just says "on inquiry" on the price column. I think the car is either "available upon request" or simply it is not for sale.
Just want to let all the C-coupe fans here know that it is not just a C-coupe with AMG bodykits, it can fly too!

I wonder if that is a Euro catalog. There are a lot of thing available in the European market that are not available here in North America. For example, AMG will do almost any kind of custom modification that you can think of if you were in the European market and were able to take delivery there.

C32 AMG, Volvo S80T6
I would guess around $42K

Just a guess... and that would be without many options similiar to how they offer the C32 now. Some options would probably bump it up to 45-49k. Sounds great. Lot of power and alot less weight. should move very quickly.

Yes, it is an Euro spec catalogue. Cause I've sent them an e-mail a few months ago inquiring what kind of custom modifications can they perform on my C32. And they sent me 6 catalogues including a price list for a Pullman Limo! It says "Valid From September 1, 2001" on the AMG price list, which means the AMG C-coupe had been developed over 6 months ago!!!
There is a AMG suspension kit for the C-coupe on the "Special Equipment" page, its Euro$696 for the kit & Euro$487.20 for "Installation & Electronic Alignment". The total is around US$1040.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find any interesting "custom modifications" for my C32!

C230K Coupe/Orion/C4/C5/CD/AMG Spoiler/V60/TeleAid, 2 MGB's
I posted a pic of a red one a few weeks back. I found it at MBSPY, but it was quickly removed from the sight once I posted it. The photo was not "shopped" or altered by me...and zooming in on it showed no telltale signs of alteration by an editing application(except the license plate). The photo showed C32 AND Kompressor tags on the hatch, with dual exhaust and some sweet wide tires and wheels.

2002 C230 K
I recall reading a post on another forum (I beleive) from a guy who toured the AMG shop in Germany. He saw them putting one of these together and when he inquired if it was going to be mass produced, was told that they were custom jobs.

Cheers, BT

Harris, you said the car is listed as 'CL32'. Is that a typo? The W203 chassis can not be listed as 'CL'. That is for the W215 chassis.

Its not a typo from me. I dont know whether its a typo from AMG or not. My catalogue does print "CL 32". I was kinda surprised too.

From what I have read the internal factory designations for the W203 platform cars are:

Sedans, C240W and C320W

Wagon, C320S

Coupe, CL230

This may be incorrect, but I have seen it several times.

I'm pretty sure that either the window sticker or some of the other documentation that came with my C230K called it a CL203.

C230 K coupe Orion blue, Evo, prem leather roof, premium sound and cd changer, auto.
Re CL230

My C230K invoice clearly states "CL230 Kompressor"
Before I picked the car up the sales rep called to tell me the "VIN number" to relay to the Insurance guy and emphasized that the car was a "CL230 coupe". This designation was further indicated in the congradulatory "form" letter issued by the head of M-B Canada indicating the car as the CL230. So I think that the official designation is CL230 K.
