C32 weight reduction

Short of drastic measures like removing seats or air conditioning, has anyone out there come up with effective ways of reducing C32 weight? I was told by Renntech that the Brembo brakes (rotors, calipers, pads) would reduce roughly 8lbs./wheel (to the tune of about $4,000.00!) I have also noticed that many users mention swapping the AMG wheels for aftermarket products. Is there a significant weight difference? Lastly, someone mentioned that tire weights can vary quite a bit, with the Toyo's being very light. How much lighter are they than, say, the PZero Rosso's (which I have on my car)? I suspect that the C32 will go down in history as the sports enthusiast's C-class, where the C55 will be a little heavier and more ponderous. Any further C32 weight reduction (especially unsprung) will only enhance the C32 weight advantage. Any info would be great.

Buy a carbonfibre hood.

Get a set of 17" OZ superleggeras.

Exchange the front seats from MB, to Recaro leather. (If you still want some luxury)

Does anyone know what the AMG alloys weigh? How much do the aftermarket forged wheels weigh?

I cut out carbs and lost 35 lbs. of sprung weight since late November. More to lose over the next few months. That is my plan for increasing performance. Add of the price of steak lunches and it's probably cheaper to do some pulley mods.

Atkins-charged C32

Am also on Atkins. 10lbs in two weeks. Lots more to go. The car is part of my diet plan (trim the fat ***=go faster). Need speed, must slim. Excellent sales pitch for "C32 Reluctant" wives.
