Brabus...

Can someone confirm if Brabus is simply an upgrade for MB cars?

I was under the assumption that they actually make their own version of MB cars and that they split from MB years back. But is it just performance related? Meaning, you have to start with a MB car first, then go to them to get the "Brabus treatment" to get extra stuff on your MB car?

Thanks,
Nick

You can buy Brabus cars off Mercedes lots or you can take your car into Brabus (I believe the requirement is <30,000 miles) and have Brabus upgrade it, they can do anything and everything.

Brabus also has a Startech line for Chrystler.

I believe the only car Brabus manufactures for Mercedes is the Smart.

I went to this website but I can't find any C-class versions of Brabus. They seemed to have the other trims but not C.

Thanks guys!

If I read that right, how is it that Brabus was able to squeeze a V8 into the C class and MB had to extend the new C55 to do it?

Wow! 0-62mph in 4.5sec!!! Anyone know the price in US $ for that C?

MB/AMG can put a V8 in the C even before the extended nose. It just won't be crash worthy like the regular C/C32 that's all.

Flushing $

Isn't that more expensive than an E55 (which is larger, faster, and more luxurious)? Unless I had so many "Benjamins" that I was accustomed to wiping (my nose, of course) with them, I can't imagine finding any reason to do the Brabus thing. I know that one of you rocket surgeons out there is going to respond:

"But the Brabus C is exclusive. . . "

Well, so is taking a chainsaw to my right arm and crazy gluing it to the side of my head, but I'll pass on both of them.

Brabus Chainsaw

Dear President VRAA: As a matter of fact, I am now marketing a Brabus chainsaw. For $1,000.00 they customize it so that it performs nearly as well as the competitor's $750.00 model. It also features "one-handed operation," which is useful when your other arm is glued to your head.

Replicas of Mutants

Question: What do you get when you create a replica of a mutant? Answer: "W"

Our "President"

While the "winter" mode is, indeed, of dubious relevance, it pales in comparison to the fine individual at the "head" (I include every meaning of the word) of our country.

Dan Quayle Brabus Badge

DQ has volunteered to sponsor a Brabus Badge for you. It has the flags for all 47 states. While I might be asking the impossible, assume for a moment that "W" is "George W. Bush." Now go back and read the posts.

Actually, you would make an excellent President. Who would be your running mate? (DQ is already heavily committed as a "Poster Child" for Jerry's Kids.)

Brabus C Conversions-Any Sold?

I see that I am sick with the "thread diversion" illness. Back to the subject: Anyone know if they have actually managed to get a few bright souls to write the 100K check? I would be surprised if it were more than 2. They would have to be people with a lot of money and few brains. Any guesses?
