C32 Hood Scoop?
Has anyone out there installed a hood scoop on their C32? I'm looking for one of those that sits roughly a foot off of the hood and has at least 6 square feet of scoop intake. I'm picturing "Dukes of Hazard" meets Subaru or Mitsu. Any ideas? Lorinser? Brabus?

Yes the CV8 has it. Brabus shoul'd be able to deliver that. Or you go to a good paint shop and the cut scoops for you.

If im not mistaken i Know brabus has a custom hood for ther C32 car. Its similar to the CLK55 hood, but the only thing is that its a custom job and brabus does not sell it. I think the brabus ones is by far the cleanest of all.

Is there anyone out there that offers the giant "bugcatcher" hood scoop as a package deal with the "pink neon stripper" floor lights? I figure that, with this combo, my car should run a high 10 second quarter (makes about as much sense as a 333 rwhp A4 1.8T).

Emeril mixed with Charlie (Manson)
As a former owner of a yellow Honda ('88 CRX-SI), I don't think that I will be able to sleep tonight thinking about that picture of that yellow Honda-racecar-thing. I am really confused by that car. Why the TRD desigation on a Honda? Is it short for "TURD"?
Also, what's wrong with a stuffed Pikachoo or two in the rear window (flanking the Power Puff Girls)? I saw that someone else on the forum had Grandpa's "Boo-Boo Bear" or something of the sort on the rear deck, so it seems to be acceptable "automotive accessorizing."

Something different, but for your consideration...
FYI some of the force induction BMW guys have experimented with putting slats in their hoods. One person reports greatly decreased (e.g., 40 degrees) engine and oil temperatures. You'll have to log in to bimmerforums.com in order to see the pictures, and since I suspect most of you don't already have an user id there, I ripped off one of the photos and put it on my site so you can see what they're talking about.

The louvers/extractors reduced my engine and oil temps by 40 degrees.
Find a custom hotrod shop, do a design, get the louvers die stamped into your stock hood, paint your hood and that's all there is to it.

My oil is cool as a cucumber in the summer heat. I saved the cost of a euro/dinan oil cooler kit and install.
I'll try to get some measurements for you later today. I do recall that the width of my louvers is 3 inches tightly spaced using the outside line of the hood as a design guide. About 17 louvers on each side.
The hotrod shop charged me $50.00 for an hours work from laying out the design on the back of the hood to stamping out the louvers. Prior to going to the hotrod shop my body shop removed the paint from the underside of the hood for the penciled measurements and design at the hotrod shop.

They look like trailer vents.
Are you serious? Last time I saw vents like that, I was in my dad's Terry 22 trailer (right after my mom kicked him out for the 5th time).
