Does anyone have a blow off valve installed in their C32? Nice loud, "SPPHHHSHHHH"

I seriously considered putting one on the C32, they do have them for superchargers.

I am trying to stick to the more mods I do, the better chance I have of messing up my car... blow off valve isn't a necessary mod and won't make a difference in hp.... who knows... if everyone else got one, I would join the wagon. That is a great, great sound.

i dont think a BOV is possible with a supercharger

The problem with the idea of putting on a BOV on te C32 motor is the supercharger in on an electromagnetic clutch. I guess technicly you could jam the clutch to the on position.... Personally I think it would be alot of trouble just to get the bov sound.

It is an awesome sound. Never saw a thread, so I decided to start one. That would be a nice 1 day project, if you can figure it out..

i don't think its possible on the stock 32 s/c because they are roots type blower. but i know they will work on a centrifugal supercharger because my friend was running a greddy type s on his maxima.

If you REALLY wanted to it is possible.......... There is a good amount of work involved! And just for your info the C32's charger is a twin rotor heilical ihi not a roots, Similiar though.

I have a 01 IS300 with a Vortech blower. The complete system from Prolex performance includes a bypass valve which is similar to a blow off except it reclycles the air instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. Apparently using a blow off valve with a supercharger will screw the mass air flow sensor unless serious mods are made. Mine sounds like a crazy seagull when I let off the gas quick!
