C55 quarter times

Just bumped into this data snurfin the web:

C55 1/4 mile: 12.4 @114.5 by 'Motor Trend'

Just posted April 3 2004, called out as a '2003' model, but must be the new C55. We will see if this is real. That top speed is awesome!

Right Dink, something is "rotten in Denmark".
The pic doesn't match, but it is the correct part.

The CLK55 data matches exactly the published MT magazine data from May 2004 (GTO CLK comparo). So that is the more believeable data. ....and... The C55 wouldn't/couldn't be much different than CLK55.

and if like you say, they really mean CL55.... the CL55 would run with the bigger dogs.

My bad, when they actually get to test it, the C55 will run just like the CLK did. yawn. I guess there is still hope that the C55 handling has been improved.

doesnt make sense a lightweigt corvette does 12.7 at 385 hp iono it just doesnt make sense to me

looks like they fixed it.... the C55 was really a CL55.... the the CLK55 had the wrong picture, but the right numbers.... 13.1 @108 is great for a CLK55!

although, for an extra 10k, you can get the real deal deal E55...
