My IS is gone as of 06/01/04 and I am buying an 02 C32 (already have my rims on order!). I seem to only see silver and black for sale. Why is that and are there any other colors available?
Thanks

Wow, there's a whole spectrum of colors available. You may want to go to the archives of this list. In '02 they had Capri Blue, Merlot, Black Opal, a greem. and about 5 other colors other than silver and black. Someone told me that 40% of the C32's were ordered in silver, but I agree that it's a boaring color. Mine is black opal with blue seat inserts.
Where can I get info on the actual colors and how many were produced per year? Also good places to search besides autotrader.com?
Thanks

autotrader is best place to find out. Ebay sucks.
black and silver are most common and easiest to sell statistically.
I personally love the magma red and the blue, but would not get them as they would be difficult to move when I wanted to sell.

Black and Silver are going to be about 80-90% of your used 2002 options. White will make up a maybe 5%.
Otherwise you will see a few:
Magma Red
Bordeaux
Transinite Blue
Opal Blue
Tectite
The optional colors were available but out the door cost was about $2000, so they are very rare. Most folks bought the Silver or Black (or white) that were available at no additional $ and look good too.
If you locate one of these other colors used, and you like it, you will have yourself a very unique car.

My 2004 is Capri Blue with black interior. The color actually looks a little different depending on the light it's in. Bright sunshine = purplish tint; overcast daylight = dark blue; nighttime = very dark, almost black. I love it!

Orion Blue in Fairfax, VA here. Did you buy your car from ASC? I remember seeing a Magma Red car in their showroom at one time.
