Stumbled across this car recently at an auction and picked it up. From what I have read, it's a very low production car. Having a hard time finding a value to put on this car, so any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Sorry, but everything I can find and that engine pic say this isn't an AMG at all. That's a NA V6 which would make it a rebadged C 320 Sportcoupe.
Unless I'm just wrong on all counts. I am a father and husband after all.
Thanks for the comment. The motor is definitely a supercharged V6 making it a C32 for sure. I had previously removed the plastic cover to inspect it and it is factory installed. The mystery continues. I'll probably need to reach out to MB and try to get more clarification.

Mmm not its not.
This is what a supercharged C32 V6 looks like.
That's a rebadged C320 coupe. You've been bamboozled.
Does the speedo/tach say "//AMG" in silver?
Aside from the engine, which is very obviously the regular 3.2L V6:
1. Single piston sliding brake calipers. AMG cars had multi-piston, fixed calipers.
2. No AMG fascia or cladding.
3. No AMG rims
Sorry, but you've been had. That said, hopefully you didn't pay too much for it and it is still a fairly rare car in C320 guise and looks like it is in quite good shape. You should have no trouble selling it.
You can simply decode the VIN and see it for yourself.
If you post the VIN, I can help you. It's an easy thing to determine.
As a side note, I never understood why people slap AMG or M3, etc. badges on non AMG or the like cars. It cheapens what they have, which could otherwise still be a nice car, especially this coupe. And anyone who knows these cars will certainly one from the other. I know you weren't the one to do it, but I just can't understand the logic behind the previous owner doing that or anyone else for that matter. </rant>
I think im only person in this forum that used to own a REAL C32 AMG Sportcoupe and let me tell you that you just bought a C320 with an AMG badge.
The C32 AMG Sportcoupe was specially made by AMG only by request and i know that there is only 8 of this cars in the world. (One was destroyed in Germany a few years ago).
Mercedes Benz took regular C180 Sportcoupes and transform it step by step. The VIN of an original C32 AMG must describe it as a C180.
Nope, it doesn't. Looks like a fake. Thanks for the info!
At the end of the day, it's still a MB, and on top of that it looks to be in good condition, especially the engine bay!! getting it for super cheap is just another plus haha
Hello, I have recently received a C32 AMG Sportcoupe with 40,000kilometers and in mint condition. I understand it is quite a rare model, with production numbers being unknown. How much do you believe this could be worth? Has anyone heard of any of these cars being sold or auctioned recently? The chassis vin says it is a C180 when it is not..... That error may be due to AMG and Mercedes working independently back in those days I suppose.
Any information on these rare models would be great....

WOW! I guess you have zero clue what a supercharger looks like,
