The right side cutout will take some time to make it perfect. But I am very pleased with the results.
The flow is pretty even between the two sides. Sometimes I even see more air coming out from the right side than the left.
Pls shoot me an e-mail for additional info.

The Carlsson muffler is at least 1/4 smaller than the AMG one, so I expect it to be louder. I took out the resonator long time ago and the car already sound fairly loud. It sounds even louder after this Carlsson exhaust install. I shouldnt say loud, rather it is roaring.

I had mine installed on my CLK 500 last week. Install went EXTREMELY smoothly. Very nicely engineered product both in form and function. Fits very nicely with the AMG rear bumper on the CLK.

Did you trace the drivers side cut out and basically have the passenger side cut out using that template? or does the exhaust come with a template? Could you detail the cutting process?
Do you haev to remove the resonator if you install this exhaust?

Yes, we used a cardboard paper and trace out the left cutout and flip it over to do the right side. The exhaust did not come with a template because it is supposed to match with the C-RS bumper.
This exhaust system is muffler + extention tips, you dont have to touch the resonator.
