Hi everyone im new to owning a c55 its my first car and the forums. I have a 2006 Mercedes C55 AMG and my cooling fan broke I took it out and gave it 12V and still nothing so im in the market for a new one. The problem is that OEM one is 600 and I was thinking is there a Performance one that can fit the c55 like mishimoto or ISR?

I can post part number tomorrow I have it at work so cant right now. but its the hole radiator cooling fans assembly

As i remember; the power range of C55 fan is (850W),,

there are many power brands in market, but have to use the same or little bit more power than OEM fan..

I know the OEM fan has 4 wires 2 big ones RED and BLACK and 2 little ones what are the 2 little ones? and if i go aftermarket can i just put it on and connect the power wires and ill all work or will I have to do something with those 2 little wires?

Is it possible for someone to link me to an aftermarket performance fan or a cheaper OEM one?

If i'm not wrong; your fan controlled by ECU, for variant differ speed range, through temp. sensor signal,,

i think if you go with aftermarket fan, you have to put relays to control the differ speed, when the temp rise up..

Hey do you know what the difference is between the 10 blade cooling fans and the 7 because mine has 10 blades and those are way more then the 7 blade ones like 200$ so what is the difference???

As i know; "W203/W209/R171":-

*7 blades= (600W)

*10 blades= (850W)
