Check out this site on C class!

I was under the impression Mercedes had better reliability than this. Hopefully AMG's are built a little better.

C32
I am not surprised to see a website like this as recently, many MB models suffer from quality issues. The new E (W211) has its fair share but before I purchased my car, I fully realized the potential headaches I might run into. So far there has been only one major problem aside from minor rattles. Since the early 90s MB has lost a lot of ground in terms of reliability. But if I were to buy a vehicle that has all star reliability, I would have opted for the L-folks. It's too bad they don't make a car similar to the C32, well, at least not yet.

screw this. This could easily be competition trying to knock the quality of MB. Do not believe this stuff.

This COULD BE a company that competes against mercedes trying to hurt their sales by giving them a bad internet reputation. Just because a person SAYS they own a car doesn't mean they do own it- especially online.

And believe me, I am in the boating business and we have similar problems, the only way they can beat our company is by knocking us.

As long as you aren't having problems with your MB, and your warranty is good. Be happy.

i believe in a site like this. my cars been in for over 30+ warranty repairs within the last year. and ive only had my car for a year. over 30 days also.

you say be happy because your warranty is good, how can you be happy if your car is constantly in the shop?

I know that if I was having that many problems with my car, it wouldn't be my car much longer.

your right, you can't be happy when your car is in the shop, if they are moving things in a timely fashion, it's not as bad.

Some of those people kept those cars a long time, even with problems. If I had that many problems in 30 days, I would get rid of the car.

Some of it is expectations, too. I have not had a warranty problem yet, except I need to get the FLASH recall.

It seems most problems are C2xx series and some C320 series, less on some of the other models. I don't see any C32 on the list.

Maybe AMG owners don't complain as much?

C32
There aren't a whole lot of C32s compared with the other C models and frankly, not too many people have heard about the site. I believe the older version was called mblemon.com.

I would post on the site if the problems are starting to get annoying. One warranty fix so far and I hope there won't be more aside from the minor rattles in the b pillar and center console. Am I happy with the car? Yes as long as there won't be additional problems in the near future.

my cars in the shop as we speak. i got my car on march 26, 2003. theirs this thing called the VMI (vehicle master inquiry), each warranty issue is a single line, about 4-5 font. i have 2 pages and some issues that i had repaired arnt even on it!

i would of sold it, but i bought this car with my own money. being only 21, i would take too big of a depreciation hit on it. im thinking of writing letters to mbusa though. anybody think it'll be fruitful? i mean its had problems since day 1.

Is there a single focused place on this website 'mbworld.org', where specific C320 & C32 problems are listed?

I have not heard about many problems on the C32 (IC pump & elect smog pump relay).

I believe everything on that site is true. I have a 2002 c32 which I bought in Sep of 2001. I have dealer repair receipts thicker than the MB C-class manual. I'm currently in a lemon lawsuit case and they are the biggest A**holes you'll ever have to deal with. The case has been open for almost a year and they still have not responded to ANY letters my lawyer has sent.
Amongst other problems I drove around for more than 30kmiles with a messed up tranny which they claimed was normal. Everytime they would open it the electricals inside the tranny and the valve would be blown.
Finally at 42kmiles I got it fixed. Too bad there's only 8kmiles left on the warranty.
