I'm goin for 200!

200 thousand miles driven, not 200 miles per hour

@ 197k, and still chugging along!

Suspension's a little worn out
Rear main seal leaks pretty good
Transmission jerks when it's cold (replaced the connector already?)

I've replaced quite a few small parts over the years, but no major overhauls. Overall, most reliable car I've owned, with nice power and luxury included.

Nice. I love to hear these kinds of high mile stories. I'm only 180k miles behind you in my W212.

Congrats!

Ah, like me, someone who doesn't own a museum piece! :> 156K on mine, adding 11k per year.

As you know, these are all typical replacement items: suspension bushings, trans PWM solenoid, trans conductor plate.

How long have you owned it? I see you're in Michigan, are your roads turning your interior into a squeeking rattle-trap too?

I've owned it since 2009, bought it with 46k miles on the clock. I only recently moved to Michigan in late 2016, so for the first 11 years it was a Georgia car. I haven't put it up on a lift yet to see what the winter did to it...

I've had mine in Ohio now for 6 years and the underside looks fine. I wash it as much as possible in the winter, but sometimes there are nasty weeks where it's just too cold. My big issue seems to be the crap roads beating the interior apart. Currently chasing ~ 4 different rattles. Right rear shock squeeks as well.

Otherwise, mine's been my most reliable car too. Glad to hear 200k is attainable.

I'm also a whisker away from 200K. She's not as fast as she used to be, but it has been hands down the best car I've ever owned. Only small maintenance repairs. I won't bore with the list but I did all repairs myself, except for a deer strike (parked-stupid deer ran into a parked car. Unreal) to the door which needs a touch up as the paint isn't fadeing evenly.l
I did post a thread here early on, called C55 as a daily year round driver here in NY. Mine is still going strong!
