ouch i had a hit and run also a few months ago ..my insurance covered it all and my rate didn't go up. luckily a neighbor got a description of the car and the cops found him later that night so then his insurance paid my insurance.

Insurance company have confirmed I will lose 2 years no claims bonus. That'll be the 2 years no claims bonus I have all gone then

I could pay for repairs myself, but the dealer implied very, very expensive - door skins not available for MB's (apparently), so new doors in order

feel ur pain totally bro.. had that happened to my rear left passenger door.. dented in..had to replace the door shell.. so with labor, it costed me 3 G's ..

I think that insurance companies are such a rip off! Think about it you spend 1200 to 3000 a year for insurance to cover you incase this kind of crap happens and unfortunatly it does happen one day and then they hike the prices up on you! I am thinking about opening my own insurance company, hell, if i could get a couple of costomers paying 100 a month and if anything happens, speeding ticket or accident, charge them more! I would be freeken rich!
