Talking MPG war! Who's got the best HWY MPG?

This picture was taken today when I arrived at Eurocharged for my ECU/TCU Tune (The tires light up all the way through first gear now). I'm going to see if it does any better or worse on the way back to Dallas.

25.3mpg driving from Dayton, Oh to Outer Banks. A/C blasting and a full trunk doing 75-80mph.

My work commute is only 10 miles of half city, half backroads and average 19-ish. Hard not to blow out the cobwebs on the backroads, so mileage suffers for my sanity.

I can't seem to break 24.5mpg... I hit that one time from Fort Worth to Dallas and can't do it again. My daily commute in traffic is a 30 miles round trip and I average 19.8/20mpg. I'm pretty happy with that.

Driving with a lead foot almost seems like an understatement but the car is so much fun to drive!

If I get 15mpg in the city driving its a good day for me

The best I got with the C32 was 26.0 mpg. That was with the cruise control at 55 mph on the highway!

Best I can get with the C63 is 20.2 with cruise control at 65 mph on highway

Mine was set to cruise at 80mph but I hit some serious traffic at one point and it dropped my average speed. I think I would have broke into 25 with out the traffic.

My C32 gets 25 mpg in daily commuting. It gets about 23 once I hit 65-75.
My SL55 does 21 mpg on highway cruise, and 15 around town. Not bad for a heavy 500 HP monster that I can't keep my foot out of.
The E350 Bluetec does 40 mpg on cruise, and about 32 with me wife going shopping.

I'd love to have a w123 or w124 diesel for my daily driver. Might pick up a w123 240D for sitting in traffic next year. They have no power but how much do you need for traveling 15mph on the highway at 5pm?

I didn't realize that the C55 and C36 got such similar mileage. Mine does 18mpg in the city. If it's heavy dead stop downtown city traffic, it does closer to 16mpg.

It was 28 not too long before the picture was taken. I couldn't get a pic of when it said 28 because I was driving

My parents recently took a trip from Texas to Florida in my mom's 2016 Camry 4 cylinder and they averaged 29mpg. Lol! You almost matched them is a SC'd V6! Awesome.
