I think I got everyone in this forum beat for getting raped by an insurance company. I'm driving a '91 300E, which I just got for $6000 CDN, and my insurance is $6000 CDN.

This all happened because I got had a lead foot with my previous car, a C280, and the insurance co. kicked me off the policy. They made me sign a contract guarantying that I never drive either of my parents cars, and they only gave me basic coverage on the 300E. Someone steals it & I'm scewed.

I'm lucky to find a co. that was willing to insure me on the 300E. The kicker is that I won't be able to even think about getting a new car for another year or 2 when all the tickets come off my record.

I have 3 speeding tickets and a no claim accident. Hit a curb on a hard left hand turn, cop gave me a ticket for unsafe speed and wrote it up as an accident.
I have 2 Benz's on my policy. Full coverage.
1,7500 every 6 months.
I had Farmers and they raised it double that.
I use Progressive now

2 tickets and accident fall off june right when I do my new policy.

I pay for my C43 ~$2700 for the year but not full coverage....
I'm 26 and it's not my first car.

BTW speeding tickets do not raise our insurance in Switzerland
