Damn, 500HP CTS-V Plus!

"As if the 400-horsepower CTS-V Series isn't enough, we photographed General Motors' Performance Division engineers testing an even higher performance version.
Referred to as the CTS-V Series Plus by spectators at the Nürburgring, this CTS mule is said to be powered by a 6.0-liter V-8, and sources are estimating the horsepower to be in the 475-500 range. General Motors is aggressively testing this more powerful CTS, but production plans have not yet been confirmed.
The vehicle show here is actually an older CTS-V mule. The higher-performance CTS-V Plus uses a larger-displacement pushrod small-block engine, so the hood hump should disappear in production."
) that I would NEVER buy a GM again
I guess, One should never say never...
I wonder however, if it will have the window drop down option like my old Omega (the one where the window falls off the window rail/track 16 times in 3 years)
We shall see.....

I must say this is an awsome car...
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
No matter how long the CTS has been around or how big of an engine they put in it, I can't get used to it's looks. There's nothing graceful to it's lines at all.
Caddy is getting into the HP wars too! Their quality has gone up too! I would definitely get one if they can fix their teething problems.
It also needs an automatic option.
Essentially, it is eight overhead-valve V-twins tied together, but it uses a single casting for the block. For two years in a row, Cadillac has unveiled oversize engines in concept cars.
Though I've heard and now I am reading from various sources "Don't be surprised if GM is serious about putting a 7.5-liter V12 or even a V16 on the road...", "Indications are that massive engines are planned for future cars" which is "no news" these days
.If the project gets a green light, the 13.6-liter V16 could power a superluxury Cadillac sedan aimed at such competitors as Rolls-Royce and Maybach.... 2005-2006 Cadillac V16 ... desicion has not been announced as of yet from Detroit... hmmmm
Some "smaller" beast are coming out of the GM brands... 400 hp CTS-V by Cadillac and the 500hp (not yet announced for street production "officially" yet), the new Corvette with similar power... hmmm...
Any thoughts? (BRING BACK DA' FORGED MAN!)
