C32 Scuba Edition

This may be the dumbest idea I have ever had (which, believe me, is saying alot), but has anyone ever considered the idea of pressurizing the C32 fuel tank to force more gas into the engine? I have a couple of scuba tanks, a welder, and some brass fittings in the garage, and was thinking that a couple hundred psi routed into the fuel tank would do wonders for my C32. After all, what better compliment to the forced air than some forced fuel?

Any thoughts Jacques?

I agree with only your first couple words "This may be the dumbest idea"!

I see that you're still trying to win the Darwin awards.

This one is off the scale on the stupid meter.

Darwin awards?

O.K., maybe "a couple hundred PSI" is too much.

What about 10 or 20?

The question is serious, although my self-preservation "death-o-meter" tells me that it is a really bad idea.

Darwin Awards ... this would be a good one

I think the Darwin Awards response is appropriate for a question like that.

Here's my favorite from 1995:

Have you ever read anything about Fuel Injection? It's already pressurized then regulated down to about 40psi, at the injectors. More fuel only helps, when the proper proportion of air (or oxygen) is added.

Vomit, if you don't have any kids yet, please don't have any.

I think is a little too late for that (V.O.M.I.T = Very Old Man In Tights, so there is a chance he (Vomit) has already poped a couple of kids... )

I used to like your previous quote you had on each of your older postings "Better to say something stupid than don't say anything and be invisible".. something like that, because on this one, I think you really got the cake! ... I just kidding man!!!... good that you live far south, so at least I have some protection from the explotion blast of your car and those couple of hundreds of pounds of preasure ...

I smell something bad coming...

Vomit: We got to talk! Dude, this idea takes the cake! And this means a lot. I hear silly ideas 10-20 times a day.

OK, lets break it down. To make more power you add more air and than more fuel. If you add more fuel first - you loose power.

Just when I felt like Edison with the light bulb, you all step up and shoot me down.

First of all, I already did it. I found that the C32 fuel tank will hold 100 lbs of pressure without problem. I dynod at 80000 RWHP today, which was just slightly lower than NMM.

I got rid of the "stupid encouragement motto" because too many morons were taking it literally. The resultant humor was bad, like a procto with big gold rings.

O.K., I admit it, the idea was farging stupid. So sue me.

I see my wife all the time when she gets into situations like Vomit's she does the same: "Ok, then sue me!..."... ahhhh... those famous 4 words that lawyers always have at their tip of their tongues...

Cheers!

If you won't do it, I'll sue me. I wonder if my insurance will pay the judgement if I win (or would I be losing?)
