The Producers said I might get bumped if the OJ story goes to long, but I am on the DL website.

FRIDAY, JUNE 4
8:00 p.m. ET Dateline takes a look at the players of extreme driving, teenagers disregarding the safety of others, living in their own video game on real interstates with real everyday drivers. John Hockenberry reports.

Story is about "The Darkside"

i hate stories like that. Gives a bad rep to some true car enthousiast when they show the stereotypical racer with his riced out rice rocket doing burn outs. This type of story has been beaten to death i hope it isn't the same kind.

Oh I made sure to say everyone who drives a fixed up car is a hell bent ricer..don't worry

It's about Mischief and street racing we went triple platinum, so the media is on it.

edit, So you think top speed runs in Ferrari's are Ricey?

Thanx, did ya see the GT2 drive we did in spain through the mountains, it's in the new one about the Cannonball Run,
I think ya'll need to know we film the big Rallies, and these things are packed with Ture Enthusiasts, so I am not sure about the definition.
Yeah we show rice too, but what is the true definition.

I think that the new market is growing fast and scares people, something needs to be done to build more tracks for the kids. I talked about that as well.

That was at a Mischief party in DC

We had the street blocked off by our GOV friends..

The car was backfireing and the local PD rushed to the scene and arrested Dado.

Then our "friends" told the cops to back the **** off...he was let go.

Vader,

I agree with what you are saying. There really are too few tracks and they are pretty far away. In order to race correctly it takes a lot of discipline and diligence and not to mention money.

Racing on the street seems so easy comparatively. I used to do it when I was younger and can attest to the thrill and stupidity of it.

I hope the show helps people see that the need for speed lives in our blood (horse racing, chariot racing, it goes way back) and people should strive to make it more of a viable economy instead of shunting its growth and thereby making it more dangerous.

I hope so too. I had some suggestions like.
Handing out information at the DMV for racing schools, tracks and clubs.
The number of deaths has risen because the number of ppl in the market has grown fast.

Communities need to get involved, just like skateing.

I know Mischief and video games (we just signed a race game with Activision, its more like a rally game though) fuels the fire, but we are trying to use our influence on the " know it all" kids and try to direct them to tracks.
We work with Toyo on the new Take it to the track campain.

We waited until our track night (1500 kids showed up)to let Dateline interview us, I really hope they show it, and listen to the suggestions.
They might just flip it and make us look bad though, the questions were pretty gnarley.

I used to be a member of IASC the skatepark foundation.
We got money from local city parks departments for skateparks.

The same thing can be done with tracks.

That's our shop, RS4 conversion sticking out.
Me standing up, John Hockenberry the reporter in the wheelchair
The camera crew, most of the interview was done sitting down.
I did do a burnout in the C32 for em..I also admitted to spanking a Mustang on the way to work..lol
We took the reporter drifting, he sat in the car getting sideways..
