500 HP evosport C32..... (EuroTuner GP Day 2: Drags)

First announcement of the day:
EvoSport C32 wins 1st Place in yesterday's dyno results!

What a fantastic way to start the morning off! Second place was an S4 with RS4 turbos that came close with 406 rwhp. Still, our C32 put out enough to clinch Day 1.
The drag day was hot! And it kept getting hotter! Not the best weather for all these SC'd and turbos. By late morning, we were in second place with a 12.56sec @ 113 1/4 time right behind an RS4 Avant which did an impressive 12.344 on his first run! Tough to compete in a drag against an AWD car...and these Audis were impressive on launch. By early afternoon, we fell to 3rd. First place was taken by the modified S4 which did a nice 12.157. The afternoon got hotter and winds began to kick up. Rather than risking the vehicle in an attempt to take over second, we accepted an impressive third place finish among a dozen cars and packed the car in the trailer for the next day's track event.
The C32 was, by far, the talk of the day. Nobody could believe a Mercedes-Benz could compete so well against such cars, many of which had high horsepower and AWD. If only this car had AWD

Below are some pics from the day's event...enjoy:
you guys do some amazing work... would love to see a vid
Just want to see what this 500 hp car does compared to your stock car.
Those S4's were weak! That car should be in the high 11's with K04's. With internal motor work the S4 is just about king.
But 12.5 is not bad for a C32!
So EvoSport took .5 seconds off the fastest C32 (stock) drag time. Did you guys run the car stock at any point?

Great times.
Does installing a LSD fall into any of your future modding plans in order to achieve an even better time?
Also, FYI... CA Speedway is considered to be .3-.5 slower then any other track around. This is confiremed over and over by amatuers and pro's.
As you said, the RS4's should have been in the 11's - right! At another track, they would have been. :^) That is why you look at the camparisons, not the total time.
The reasons that CA Speedway sucks include:
1. elevation (foothills out side of LA)
2. heat (over 100 just about every day)
3. wind (head on)
4. poor grip on surface
5. bumpy (see the video's as they come up)
We will go to carlsbad soon to get better numbers.
There are many on this board that can confirm this about CA Speedway.
thanks
Brad

Sounds like you could have posted a 12.0 in the 1/4 mile in better conditions. That's really impressive. I remember 2 years ago Vadim told me that he would have his C pushing out over 400 at the wheel. I still can't believe the hp and torque I'm seeing on that dyno!!
