It's Here.............................
Picked up my 2005 C55 on Saturday. I am very impressed with this thing, it is definitley quicker than my C32 was. It has a great V8 growlllllll. It feels much more solid inside, and the new interior looks much better imho. I drove it around on the weekend and got nothing but stares, & a few fast & the furious people trying to race me-lol. My friend took a whole bunch of pics, which i will be posting as soon as he emails them to me.

Did you get your C55 with the back tail? I can't decide if I like this or not? I've only seen pics of the C55 with the lip but I'll have to see it in person to know if I like or not. Otherwise, I'm thinking no tail for me.

Yeah, sounds good. Friend of mine has a BMW 525 & he wanted to take some pics of both cars this weekend, we can meet up maybe with some others and have a mini-meet.

Yes i did get it with the tail. I had the same worries about it as you, and asked my salesman if i could delete it from the order, and he said yes, but in the end i kept it & i think it looks incredible. I'd keep it if i were you, you can always take it off at the dealer if you dont like it. Imho it looks much better in person than in pics.

You know that i've thought of that before when i had my C32, but you will usually end up pissing someone off, & they will key your car or worse.

Can you please go to Starfest? That way we can all enjoy the car and at the same time race it against the C32's. What do you say? It's a good break-in period and your ECU will get the best out of it!!
