I just sent an email to Mercedes Benz-AMG concerning this question, hopefully they will answer me quickly. They have LSD & Suspension upgrades on their site for sale, but i dont know if i can get that here in the USA.

Hmmm. These items are really interesting to me:
AMG Nürburgring sports suspension - Incl. springs and shock absorbers PN# HWA 203 320 01 30
Manual shift program - Modified transmission management unit with hold function PN# HWA 203 260 xx xx
Differential lock - Multiple-disc limited-slip differential (30 %) PN# A 203 350 41 64
It seems like we could just go to the dealer with those PNs and order them.

I know a big-shot at AMG and not even he could get me the parts that I wanted. They will not mod the car unless you can bring it to them. There is also some question as to whether they would mod a US spec car if you shipped it to them and the general feeling was that they would not.
It really sucks!

It is 1000% IMPOSSIBLE to order those parts from AMG, even if you physically ship your car to Germany and they still wouldnt do it. Those parts are for German specs AMG ONLY and the install HAS to be done by AMG Manufaktur. I have tried a million different sources but the answer is still no. I am already VERY lucky to be able to obtain the AMG F1 steering wheel.
Brabus, Kleemann, MKB are the companies that I know who make LSD for our cars.

I noticed that you can get Alcantara headliner in the CLK coupes as an option. This is the only thing that I wish the CLK55 coupe came with or was atleast an option in the US market!!

All a LSD is a set of gears arranged in a well known configuration. There's nothing magical about it, for a C32 it just has to be able to withstand the stress of the power that is going to be routed through it.
$4K to $8K seems like quite an outrageous amount to pay for a LSD. Doing a quick google search it seems like you can get LSDs for normal cars at prices ranging from $800 - $1500. A $8K LSD better be bundled with one hell of a vacation, lol.
I wonder how much it would cost to get a LSD fabricated for a C32? The only trouble I see is that since ESP is currently used to give us a LSD-like function, to fully make use of a real LSD it would seem that you'd have to patch the ESP program to increase the threshold before ESP engages to match the amount of slip supported by the LSD. I would imagine we could probably get a LSD fabricated at a more reasonable cost, but the software is would be an issue.

Mr. AlpharettaC32:
AMG vehicles are ONLY manufactured in Affalterbach... if you have an AMG, it didn't have to "stop" in Affalterbach, simply the parts where added to the order of your car. As indicated before, this is only possible at the time the vehicle is ordered NOT afterwards... (no retrofits are allowed). I have a few AMG true one of a kind vehicles manufactured that way. The "true" one of a kind is known due to the fact the vehicles were built with the engine options and custom AMG parts, some of them listed on the catalog link, and todate no other car(s) have been built exactly as the ones I have. ONE "unfortunate" problem, some of those "one of a kind" cars, I have NOT been able to get them to the USA due to emissions and US legal lingo which renders those vehicles "un drivable" in the US
(however, I happily drive them when I go to my home in Austria
)
For the USA orders... only if a person places an order directly in Germany and after delivery "somewhere" in Europe (as allowed by Mercedes Benz on an authorized dealership/location) if you (the person who placed the order) personally shipped the vehicle to the US only in that way you can get the custom AMG parts installed.
Cheers!
