I have a speed43 airbox and it really does work. I did not have a before and after dyno to show the increase in power but it surely made more power and the throttle response improved. The renntech box looks nicer but for 1/4 the price, the airbox I received from speed43 is definitely was worth it.

Thanks! Most of my customers prefer the OEM look. Very few want the carbon fiber. I actually like the renntech carbon fiber box but would never pay that price for it. This is why I came up with the mod. I first modded the box for my w202 c43 amg. I posted in the c43 forum to show the guys what I did and how they can do it too so as to gain 10hp. But I got the responses if I can do it for them. So I started to mod for the c43 than moved on to other Mercedes.

Best thing is how great my customers have been. Most don't take the time to review the box as their busy. So I really appreciate when guys chime in and say nice things. Thanks!
