BTW, I'm going to donate my free dyno coupon at the meet in Huntington Beach.

But to give you an idea.....a typical Stage 3 S4 is around 330-380 whp on pump gas (depending on if its East Coast 93 or Cali Craptane 91). So about 420-470 CHP...with about the same TQ. On racegas.....400-450 whp is not uncommon.....depending on the car and which kit it runs. Typical Stage 3 car will go lo 12's (12.2ish@113-117) give or take. Some go a little faster.....factory freaks perhaps
Not bad, although I'm glad that I don't have an S4. That's some pretty serious surgery to get to that level, and I know I wouldn't be able to resist doing it
Too bad the B7 RS4 is a V8. I wished they would of kept the V6 Bi-turbo set up.
BMW is doing the right thing on the 335i.

What is your take on their turbo new engine? Forgive me if I sound ignorant to turbo engines, but I have never owned or modified one.
But to me the 335i coupe or sedan will be a tuners dream, but its 3 cylinder per turbo design may hurt its potential.

but in all honestly, its pretty straight forward bolt-on/screw-in type of installation when doing Stage 3.....u just have to pull the engine
But it helps when many of the parts are Audi OEM (it's good to have the real B5 RS4 as brother) to upgrade and swap parts for. My car is pretty much done now.....just gonna mess with some software and tuning stuff

All of us Turbocharged S4 owners say that the new RS4 should have had the 4.2 Liter BiTurbo that was in the RS6. "THAT" would have been a dream!!!
The new twin-turbo BMW 335i looks nice.....some real good potential there. It seems like with just a few simple mods, it'll be quick as hell, perhaps as fast as the NEW 400+ HP M3. With just a chip/software, DP's, exhaust.....you should be able to be near the 400 HP mark. Only drawback it seems (this is all theoretical btw) is that since it is an Aluminum Alloy Block.....it might not be able to "handle" HIGH BOOST applications...and consequently anything over 400ish+ HP. The great thing about the B5 S4 2.7 V6 is that it's got an Iron bottom end...so 500-600 HP is fine in the engine. But who knows until they start pushing this new Inline 6 powerplant. It'll be interesting to see fer sure

yea, from the mod list of the stage 3 they look to be simple bolt-ons. only the turbo needs to have the engine out. I envy turbo modders...
Typical Stage 3 B5 S4's (all-bolt-ons) trap about 115-118 (full weight of 3800+ lbs)......the fastest ones trap 120-129. They can hang with most cars

anywayz, finally got the time to put my idea into actions and installed the trims that I had it painted a while back.
btw, if anyone wants to buy my C32/patterned aluminum trims are for sale $500 OR $250 plus your wood trim.
here are the pics

without flash

bad pic showing the door trims

now the heart breaking part of today's action!! I somehow manage to pop out the last molding piece along the passenger taking a hard left
...got to my friend's place realize the piece was missing...went back to the scene and found it broken and badly rashed. someone probably ran it over after it popped out.

I love the sport pedals, but how did you mount the dead pedal there - I've pulled all that up and it's just foam under there - is it a good solid mount? Where does it attach to the car?
Also, chin-up - I'm sure a new 2 inch molding piece will only be like $700

Thanks - nice pics.

the pedals are Carlsson pedals. the dead pedal came with two carpet screws/place holder and then you just screw the normal screws onto it.
not worried about the molding piece. found it pretty funny that I actually found it on the road.

enjoy the clips.
