Where did you get the tint done? Also, if you don't mine me asking, how much did the job run you?
BTW, looks good and glad it came out of service in one piece!!

Noble, that's my cousin's A4 3.0
lap, where can i get the felt-guide. I forgot to ask the tint shop.
Mark, the tint shop is called California tint. It's on Rosemead blvd north of 10fwy just pass the mission rd. The tint cost me $120-130.

Frank, I'm not sure b/c I have not done it yet myself. If you googled it u can find various sources.
My tint guy has advised he found some other felt type material that should work (from the fabric store). However, I will not be rectifying my problem until after my Cali trip.
If you look closely at your door you will see that the upper window frame channel (where the upper part of the window sits between when fully closed) has a "soft" felt-type material. However, the lower window guides, which the window slips down inbetween (and where you would lean your arm over if you were a low-rider
)are of a harder rubber material which will scratch the tint.
Good Luck & let us know your progress.

AMG BRED, I dunno...just didn't want 32 all around I guess.
deuce, I think they have as dark as 5-10% tints.
oh yeah, btw, I asked the tint shop owner who has a S-class him self says that by using those air duster often on the inner seal, should keep the film scratch free.

My tint guys said the same thing ... then they had 4 MBs in the last several weeks suffer the same thing. I actually had one "never-opened" window (drivers rear) that I opened-closed (+/- 10 times) in front of the tint shop owner ...and sure enough
