Today I met up with a buddy of mines he has a modded G35 with spray..Has about 450hp or so....We did it out the hole and I took him by about 3 cars before and then he just stayed an even length behind til about 100 then i would pull again....Then we did 3 rolling races at about 20mph where hes nitrous would shoot right away and he stayed dead even with me..actually in the second race he actually pulled on me by about half a car length .....Very nice race we couldnt video tape cuz it was late at night but were gonna run it tomm...After I take off the 2 cats and and get my custom exhaust....

sorry, offtopic.. but how did you get a borla exhaust for the C32, i looked at their website and they don't have an application for it.

Since both C32 and G35 are about equal in weight, it looks to me like him on NOS is about equal to you. 350HP to 285HP + 65HP shot.

Besides NOS, what else has he done to the G35? Surely NOS itself won't give him 450bhp at the crank

G35 coupe is roughly 3400 lbs and the C32 is about 3650. SMG's car was more like 3780 so the G35 is a good chunk lighter. The sedan about the same in wieght so how ever you skin the cat, the G35 is hauling around less mass.

A good friend has a G35 6-Speed coupe and he frequently attends our track events. His car is slightly slower on the straights but it is fairly close in the corners. A stock C32 would be killed by the G35 coupe 6-speed at the track for the chassis of the G35 is set very well.

In a drag race I see the G35 needed a fair bit of work to keep up but the G35 is a real steal price wise.

I think it was a fairly even matchup... G35 coupe comes with 280hp to the crank, subtract a 15% drivetrain loss from that and its about 240whp!!! Then you take into account all the bolt-ons + cams and you have the motor running more efficiently.. i would say at least 25+whp with all that stuff, conservatively speaking. so we are at 265whp, add on a 100shot of nitrous (if its a wet kit), the G35 should be at 360+rwhp. Then take into account his larger then stock diameter wheels... and vioala... about an even matchup rolling.

your right benzo bout 360 to the wheels is what his running id say..cuz were at about 340 lets say...i was also running with 3 ppl in the car..he was running 1....but it was about dead even from a roll....everytime we did it off the hole it was complete destruction..no less than 3 cars by like 60
