Questions
1. Does USA/Canada C55 carries MB's audio 50 system?
2. Has anyone tried to play MP3 files on CD-R on the front insertion DVD drive?
3. What about the CD Changer/Jukebox , doe sit read Mp3 files and playback?

2. The front dvd drive should play mp3 cds aswell as mp3 dvds, I have done on our 04 comand system.
3. Not sure about whether it is a standard CD changer, it may play mp3 cds.

I once wanted to get my ex-E320 replaced with Mp3 playback audio unit but did not trust the local shops here
( not wanted they screw up the built in mobile phone )

C55 mp3 playback
I made an mp3 disc using roxio easy cd creator and my C55 doesnt play it. I tried it in the changer and behind the lcd where the one cd goes in. They both didnt read the disc.

Is your C55 with audio system model 50 ?

I got the C55 Audio 50 , and confirmed it did not play MP3

Z06, M3, Mini Cooper S. Sold: C55
I tried playing an MP3 disc in my C55 and it didn't work in any drive (changer, cd, or DVD). I think your audio system in Asia is different. I can't believe a 2005 model car this expensive can't play MP3 discs! My old 2002 Mustang GT could play them and had an in dash 6 cd changer (in the main radio, not separate changer) to boot.
