Car started idling very rough while driving to my house, almost wanted to stall numerous times. When I parked it and tried to start again cranked turned over idled and then stalled. Scanned it and got code P0105 for map sensor. replaced map sensor and still stalls out. Any ideas ??? ( also scanned after installing new map sensor still got same code)

Any mods? A fixed pulley could do this.
It's possible that the harness to the map sensor is ruined, which is my experience with a lot of "replaced item and fault still present".
It could also be a vacuum leak, or something else..

catless down pipes and shorty eurocharged headers. Didn’t notice any cracked hoses while I was down there but i also didn’t check the harness. Is it possible I need to clear the code ?

Definitely try to clear the code first and see how you go. If it returns immediately, you have something immediately wrong.

Not too sure if headers need a tune, but running them untuned would cause issues if they do.

tried clearing it but was unsuccessful, not sure if I need a certain device ( currently using a blue point) but unsure if the headers would need a tune was told on another post that I wouldn’t

MAP sensor going out or bad batch of fuel. Also check inner linings of the fuel hoses around the filter for internal blockage. That can also cause these symptoms. recently caught this on mine.

changed map sensor on Tuesday, problem continued. Although I still haven’t reset so who knows, I’ll disconnect my battery today and give it a try. Definitely gonna look at the lines after seeing that, yikes.

P0221 c32 amg

So after replacing my MAP sensor after scanning and getting code p0105 and resetting the car, I started it up idled normal for about 15 seconds then began to misfire and idle rough. Pedal felt really soft so I turned it off and scanned again. Code p0221 came up for acceleration sensor. Anyone happen to know where it’s located??
