E55 Flint Grey/Merlot

C55 Accessories

I'm considering ordering Chrome Door Handle Protectors, Chrome Headlamp Rings, and Chrome Mirrors. Has anyone seen these on C32's or C55's? Whaddya think?

IMHO, I say yeh to the headlamp rings, but neh to the other items (especially the chrome mirrors). Just my $.02, but you do what you want to do, that is the whole purpose of modding a car, to make it your own creation!!

In HK, it is popular among W210 owners install chrome gardgets because many shops sell them and guess people can recognize their cars easily; as W210 is the most popular MB in HK you can see a dozen pass you by in every street. Seems I did not notice the W203 owners do that.....so either the shop does not sell them or W203 owners do not like them.......

I saw this is person, the guy had all the chrome accessories and it looked pretty tacky, didn't like it, the headlamp rings are all right......

The less chrome the better. I've been considering painting over all the chrome parts on my bumpers and moldings.

hold off on the chrome door handles, i can ask my friend if she wants to sell the chrome door handles on her car.

Accessories Revisited

Thanks to all for the replies. I changed the order to headlamp rings only. I assumed that if Mercedes offered the accessories they would look good and since I'm getting a more subdued color, some extra chrome flash sounded like the ticket. I appreciate you guys saving me from Bling Hell.
BTW how long does it take for the car to arrive at the Dealer after the Build Date?
