VRP Secondary Air Injection Block-off Plates
Hello All,
Made a video on how to remove SAI pump assembly and installed VRP's block-off plates. VRP previously thought that they would only fit the M113k platform, but they do in fact fit the C55's NA-M113 also!
In addition, these Block-off plates will work for any M113, M113K, M275, M156 that has the Bosch 540205 pump.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Here is the video:
Thx,
ANDERZÉN

They will also fit the M112K.
I have M113K block offs on my C32.
To delete the CEL, you need to code off the SAI, either with a scanner (Autel/Xentry) or a tune.

Did you find solution?
. Select your car
2. Go to Control Units
3. Go to Drive
4. Go to MESFI 2.8
5. Go to Development Data
6. Go to Control Unit Adaptations
7. Go to Control Unit Adaptations(Variant Coding)
8. Go to Implizite Kodierung ME281 AMG C6-Stand
For EGR scroll down to 0176 and change Diagnose ein to Diagnose aus
For Secondary Air Injection scroll down to 0178 and change Diagnose ein Diagnose aus
For Post Cat 02 sensors scroll down to 0182 and change Diagnose ein Diagnose aus
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
UNLOCK ME 2,8 SFI
control unit groups
drive
ME 2,8 SFI
development data
actuations
complete index of actuations
steuergerät entriegeln -> confirm (In English: ECU unlock for programming))
then apply variant coding while engine is still running.

Does anyone have info on how to do this on the m275 engine? I don't see anything that resembles the two things that was pulled off and blocked off in the video on my car. I have a 2006 w220 s600. I'm also looking to delete the egr. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Those block off plates don't work on the m275 or the m279. I removes the secondary air injection unit and blocked off the egr on my s600. The secondary air injection unit only had one how connected to it that goes to the egr. There are no holes to fit those block off plates. I had already coded them out on with my autel scanner a long time ago. I think you can diabble them with the icarsoft mb edition but it would be a pain to find the option to do it because its really slow and its descritions are different. You can definitely turn them off with star or any other expensive scanner. I'm not sure if it will throw codes if you don't disable them first. Mine didn't throw any codes but they were already disabled

I don't know why those block off plates are listed for the m275. I'm glad I didn't buy them, they would have been paper weights

why are you guys removing secondary air injection? you realize there is zero performance gain? If 5 lbs matters than dont eat a cheese burger. lol.
On the M275 the secondary air is built into the coolant thermostat for one cylinder, the other is on the passenger side cylinder head. pointless to remove this system.

113 or 112 - you have engine covers that hide these items. Also what are ya'll working on so much. spark plugs every 100k miles, valve cover gaskets every 5yrs, and oil changes. lol. what do you need space for? It's not a v12 or some maintenance pig with hoses and lines everywhere. haha.

hard on for pointing out how people don't know what they're doing and tend to create more problems rather than actually fix real problems. lol. I can almost guarantee 95% of people on here think secondary air injection and egr hurt their performance. just trying to spread the truth. Egr is pretty cool helps gain 10% fuel economy at a cruise and really doesn't have any down sides on m112/m113 platform unlike diesel stuff. Secondary air is pretty silly. Likely most ya'll are catless at this point anyways so it really does nothing but you lose that sick vacuum cleaner sound under the hood at cold start. It's way better than a speaker making space ship noises from an EV. Let's everyone know you car sucks hard like a hoover. lol
