Weird engine start...

For the three days I was there I had to park my car outside. The first couple days the temp was around 70 degrees when I woke up around 10am and starting the car was as usual no problem. BUT on the last day, I think during the night the temp had dropped to around 40ish or lower and when I woke up around noon it was only 60ish degree. It was fairly warm w/ sun shining in your face, so I proceed outside and start my car.
This time cranking it takes longer than usual to start the car up while it feels like it's choking when first fired up. I'm thinking is this just caused by the cold temp during the night or is it something that I should worry about? I'm back in LA now and has no problem again.
btw, my SOS thing gave me an error msg couple time last night. did anyone know if something might be wrong? i'm thinking to take it in if it comes up again.
The auto choke usually kicks in somewher below 60 to help the start. If you touch the gas at all before or during the startup, you will over shoot the air to fuel mixture and slow and roughen the start. If you stay off the gas during start you should be OK.(assuming you did in the first place).
