SL55 Intake Mod Help

So I am all set to install the SL55 intake. Go out to the car, pop the hood look at the stock set up. Hmmm how do I get the hose clamps off? Figure it will be easier to take out the stock hoses and air filter tops. No big deal go back in the house with everything. Damn, still can't get the clamps off. How do you work these things?

Thanks. I will try the pliers. I was looking at it and thought I just needed to pry at it with a screw driver. I apperciate the offer of help. Hopefully I will get it taken care of before then, but if not I just might take you up on it.

What part of Atlanta are you going to be in? If you are interested we can see about gettting a group together for Dinner & Drinks. Last time somone came up we had a good time, an SLK32, CLK55, C32, and S2000 all showed up. Had a little impromptu run, the stock SLK32 won, CLK55 in second and C32 dead last. Everyone was basically stock.

I need to find Disc Spring Compressor to install my Renntech springs. All the shops want to bend me over to do the install.

Really? My impression is that the CLK was equal or a little bit slower than the C32. I do know the SLK's are faster! Oh well...I learn something new today!

the CLK55 with a good launch will most likely be faster than the C32 because it has a lot more torque, but the CLK55 are harder to launch because of the torque.
