There are a lot of places that can repair curb rash on rims for about $100-$150. Call around. No need to replace, if you can fix.

I am confused. I am assuming that either eup or "one up" is a place to buy used parts online. I cannot find either one. Am I reading too much into this?

Dude, you can get it repaired without a trace for a couple of hundred HKD

BTW, your wheels are only around HKD3000 usually less), depending where you get them - with Zung Fu/Speedline you'll pay a premium.

Thanks to all. Good news is not so bad a price for a total replacement , that would be the preferred solution. I heard about places in HK that I can get the wheels polished 'without a trace', and then what really in my mind is I don't really want to have that bad feeling walking in and out from repair shops fixing a brand new USD10500 super car only after 3 weeks launched HKD 3000 (USD 400) for a wheel is really not bad for resuming the baby to its perfection. Guess I should polish the scratched wheel, store it somewhere and until one day , touch wood, another scratch again, may be at that time ..the baby is aged enough for me to accept a not so perfect wheel

Since you won't be needing the old wheel, I'll be happy to take each off you when you put a scratch on them.....I'm sure I'll end up with a full set in no time, which I can fix up and sell to less **** people j/k

Truly. The best and cheapest fixing is "do nothing".
I finally went home and saw the damages, 7-8 scratches along the edge, lucky none of those scratches are on the star; thus, they are not that obvious if looking at them 6 feet away. A new wheel is USD450, get it polished and repaint it is USD50.

WTF? Where did you get that quote from? USD450 is way too much.

It is quoted by the authorised dealer Zung-Fu in HK. Rip off for sure. BTW, it wil take 3 weeks to wait for the wheel. So I got it polished and repainted today in a local tire shop in Mongkok ( Yiu Kee ) that costed me USD40 and waited only two hours!

I'm happy for you

FYI the AMG parts subsidiary of Zung Fu is Speedline (in CWB). They will rape you with a walk-in price (even if you do it thru your saleman). It is actually much cheaper and quicker to buy from the other shops who import them in the grey market. How did they paint your wheel in 2 hours? Sounded like they didn't bake the paint for a lasting finish....but that's ok, it should last as long as you properly polish/wax it from time to time.
