Hi,

I am looking to replace the Forgestar F14 wheels on my C55. I have the CLK63/SLK55 P030 package brakes installed on my C55. I was wondering if anyone was running the OEM SL55 22 spoke "turbine" style wheels. I am looking to not have to run spacers.

Anyone on this forum happen to be running the SL55 wheels on their C55 with upgraded brakes? Just wanting to know if it will all fit.
Link to wheel design is in this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...-c55-done.html

Thank you,!

I thought people normally went with the SLK55 setup?

I went with an optional OEM 5 Spoke wheel offered at the time after fitting the F/R 030 brake option.

nice! I have the same wheels on my c55. btw, did you get the ones from c55 or from slk\clk55 (they have different offset for fronts). Mine are from slk55 and sit a bit deeper inside.

I went with C55 - It was a W203 based accessory guide from MB. Had I known about the SLK55 deeper look at the time - I would have gone that route.

These look great! I think I found a set that is available. I hope the set I found is a version that will clear the 6/4 brake set. If you remember, do you know which lug bolts were used in this setup? I know I need R12x1.5 BALL seat for AMG wheels, but was hoping to know what the shank length needs to be.

I remember using the stock lug nuts from the original twin spoke wheels the car came with. I think your measurements are correct. I'll be prepping the car for storage again soon - although I only drove it once this year for an emissions test. I'll check then if you can wait a bit.

I can confirm that regular w203 bolts worked fine for me as well.
