1st gear peaked at only 12psi for some reason (maybe b/c i stomped it from a roll when it wasnt under boost yet and needed a bit more gear to get full boost)... the other gears peaked at 17.5psi!! Its fun to see the electromagnetic clutch on the s/c work as boost picks up and drops right back off into 0 or vacuum!!

I dont know if that is because of the clutch on the blower. On my bmw, as soon as the throttle was released, it would immediately drop back into vacuum. The only time it would go into boost is if the throttle was pressed moderately to hard.

yes, unfortunately i couldnt find a vacuum line that lead into the intake portion after the s/c so we had to tap into part of the intake manifold!!! It shouldnt be a problem so long as you knwo what you are doing. I had an experienced MB mechanic help me through the whole process though, i wouldnt recommend this install for any amatuers!!

In order to read boost a hole in the manifold will need to be made. Not a big deal, but does require more tools.

yes, I had to tap into the Intake manifold on the drivers side portion wehre the air comes back up from teh I/C... Jerry, post some pics of your gauge setup, I would love to see it.

There's a nice how-to on this SLK32 site on installing a boost gauge. I would imagine the procedure is very similar on a C32:
