0-60sec in 2.5sec!!!
The latest Oct. issue of Motor Trend has a review of the all NEW "Chrysler ME 412" (the car looks very NICE!) that does 0-60sec in just 2.5sec.!!! It gives the break down of some other HOT cars in comparison...
Ferrari Enzo: 3.4sec
Porsche Carrera GT: 3.6sec
Ford GT: 3.7sec
And then I got to thinking! If a C55K S8 (KLEEMANN) can come in at at 3.8sec 0-62, what can it do in 0-60!? I bet beat at least 1 or maybe 2 of the cars listed above!? D A M N N N N!!!! :p

Conventional wisdom says nought to 60 in 3.6 seconds. Not to be picky, but 0-100 kmh is 62.5 mph. Normally I would say nothing, but I am sure people are going to wonder how the time is won and a 20% jump in mph might help win some minds.

The reality is that the Kleemann can probably pull it's best run more or less all day. Although I have heard amazing things about the driveability and launchability of the Ford GT, and the Enzo is plug and play as well, I wouldn't really want to challenge any of them. Well, maybe I would, but I would just expect to run even, not beat them. I believe the 0-125 times would show the C55k S8 overtaken by all three.

Hey thanks for the info! Actually, I didn't know that it's 62.5mph so now I do! Thanks!
Yeah, the engine for the Chrysler (yes I said Chrysler - just seems weird) beast is...
6.0-liter V-12 (mag says it's similar to 612-horse SL65 AMG motor, but has quad turbos pumping 2.5bar. Output is 850 hourses at 5750 pm and 848 pound-feet of torque between 3500 and 500rpm!!! WOW!

God do I hate the merger...
If you see one paragraph before:
"Enter the ME-412.. they took a Mercedes engine.. took it to Mercedes tuner... they spent a year.. and outdid the SLR McLaren.."
Emphasize in "took" words..... yeah, another company (i.e. Ferrari) could take all ME-412 engine, use Ferrari tuners, spend 6 months, and outdo the ME-412 (possible 0-60 in 2.7sec?).
Either way, it's a cool car...... the back reminds me of Carrera GT.
