Hit a dog just now!!!!

On the way to the gym this moring a big dog ran in front of my C32 and cracked the whole bumper. The dog escaped with a broken leg but my bumper and left foglight are ****ed! Who makes a nice replacement bumper that might be a little more aggressive looking than the stock one?

Glad the dog is ok. I think the C32 front bumper is one of the highlights of the car. I wouldn't swap it for an aftermarket bumper. The only thing I would recommend is swapping the the fog lights (since you broke one) with clear ones, but then you would probably want to also swap the headlights.

My vote: stick with the stock bumper or see if the C55 bumper will fit?

Watch out... some idiot (who did not pass the bar on the first take) working downtown might charge with "cruelty to animals" to milk money out of you for their job security.

Finally, some good flesh-metal contact! I am going to sue your butt off for your dog tort. Now if I can just figure out how to get Mr. Doggo to sign the contingency contract. . .

I strongly suggest that you immediately hire your own "rent-an-idiot" (read: personal injury defense attorney) before I and my canine client take you for everything you have.

Mr. Doggo was going to attend Harvard obedience training school (a division of Harvard Law School), and had a bright, pain-free future before you mowed him down in his prime.

I am confident that a jury of felines and canines will find your actions to warrant big $$$$$$$$$$$$. Pay up now, dog mauler, or suffer the consequences.

I'll have you know that your dog was intoxicated under the influence of dog biscuits, catnip and some beer that was spilled all over the floor last night. Toxicology shows that he consumed at least two tabs of LSD within three hours of the accident and has two priors for "Auto-Doggie" fraud, similar to our "slip and fall" scheme. That's why I have Allstate because they believe I should have a lawyer to represent their interest...errrr...I mean my interest. Yeah, that's it. My best wishes to your dog, and I think that the person who "mowed him down" should cover the vet bill, but other than that...I'll see you in court.

Ouch, poor dog!

I hit a dog once. I was actually merging onto the highway, doing 70mph (don't know how the hell a dog got out there) and I had a car next to me (two lane highway) and a guard rail on the other side. Coming around a slight turn too and WHAAM, BOOOM! SPLAT! All I could do is try to slow down but I obliterated the dog. I really put him out of his misery as he had already been hit and was trying to crawl away. Looked like another car clipped his back as his back legs were broke. Happened so fast. I pulled over and animal control cleaned up the rest. Needless to say, it did $600 worth of damage to my Civic at the time.

Who did your grill? Is it a stock grill? Was there trouble with painting the chrome strips? If not, have you had a lot more paint chips on it?

Thanks. Sorry to stray. No pun intended.

I am sorry to hear this and I am glad you did not get hurt. You reminded me my accident on a Honda CB200 200cc motorbike 20+ years ago in England. I hit a dog and ended up myself in a coma. And until I was awake, I found myself in the hospital bed with bloody on my face. I did not have broken arms or legs , but my lips were cut and two teeth broken. My handsome face was retained because the operation on the lips were a well done. I have my two teeth caped and the caps were working so well even until now I am getting old

cnt
p.s. At that time , I could not afford a car and not even a full-face helmet. Time flies.
