C55 AMG amazing after 4 months

I have been through a lot with my '06 C55 going through maintenance and piecing through issues. It has been a good experience and appreciate this car's engineering. The list of items I have replaced is extensive but necessary because of the mileage. Some of the things that I replaced were probably totally unnecessary...it just made me feel better.

I have peformed all of the basics like oil/filter change, transmission fluid, differential fluid, coolant, spark plugs and spark plug wires, air filters, power steering fluid and reservoir, and idlers with a new drive belt. I also dug deeper and replaced all 24 lifters and valve cover gaskets along with the breather hoses. Fuel injectors were swapped with 8 refurbished units from Injector Planet along with a new pump and filter unit. The interior is remarkably in very good shape so the only things I had to replace were the cup holder and floor mats.
Moving on to the suspension and items

underneath... I replaced the rear shocks and the front struts with Bilstein B6 units. I also replaced the motor mounts, sway bar end links, and control arms. All this made the car handle amazing and everything is so smooth.
Of course I had to replace the 6 year old tires with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons to complete this "journey". Top off with a Renntech tune and it is truly a joy to drive. Have a great day and keep driving these machines!

You do very nice work and I like your list priorities. Get the platform solid and then think about about the tune.

Nice car man, very clean. I am in the process of doing the exact same thing. Since a buddy is available to do the work, I am just replacing a bunch of parts since it makes sense (besides the normal maintenance).
My personal project on it is that I will be replacing the radio with an android head unit, got all the parts in and plan to do it this weekend.
