an Air filter will make it louder, wont need to touch the exhaust. Some ppl in this board sell good ones

eisenmann and supersprint are in the works for exhaust systems i believe. resonator removal if i'm not mistaken should be pretty easy for any muffler shop to do and it's super cheap on C32's

Hi Marc. I'm in for some aural enhancement if you guys figure something out. I emailed B&B since they are here in Phoenix but haven't hear back form them. I'm thinking about hitting up Pep Boys for some glass paks, what do you think?

it'll get louder once you tack on some more miles...I have 5k on mine now and I notice a significant difference from when I first got it...that's if I don't have my Logic 7 blasting....!! :p

Cars and boats!
i know of 2 places that can do it.. either Noels Mufflers here off of Alibaba street in North Miami or Miami Muffler down near homestead. Theres a discount rate at Noels for members of www.miamistreetracing.com so if u want register for the site and you can get alll the exhaust info you want there.

Hey guys, I am going to have my resonator surgically removed next week. I had a chat with an exhaust guy and he said that it being an AMG car and all he would be hesistant to do much other than remove the resonator. It can be easily removed for $40 I might add, and re-installed if I am unhappy with the change. I'll try to get over there by mid week and let you know what I think.

So what's the verdict 05C55? The the exhaust mod work out for you. Did the sound improve? Did you loose a bit of low end torque? Please let us know. TIA.

I had the resonator removed on my C55. The sound is a little louder and deeper. Nice.

TEASha, did you experience a drone or vibration at a certain RPM range? Notice any loss of low end torque? TIA.
