I heard your theory about all these bumpers are the same but why is it this did not fit mine at the body shop when we tried and he really tried several times? I thru calling Stealership I was told there are like three manufacturers of the bumper so there are 3-4 different part numbers and when I ordered one based off my VIN I got one that fit right off the bat...if you know a way to get this bumper sold and fit correctly on any C32 or compatible car I will paypal you $50. Is this CF hood VIS? Can you PM me what you did to get that finish?Originally Posted by BenzoAMGpower

Yep, its VIS.. to get this finish though... I had to go through a bodyshop I used to work for. The bodyshop closed shortly after I quit though.
The whole hood came from VIS silver carbon fiber finish... there is really no such thing as real silver CF so I figure its a carbon kevlar fiberglass blend. Either way, still looks good and is 1/3 of the weight of the stock hood. To get this hood to look the way it does with teh paintjob, we had to put a couple coats of clear (enough to fill in all the little gaps between the CF weaves), smooth it out, paint over it, and then apply another coat of clear. When painting it, our painter did a fade job from the sides to the center. Came out pretty cool!!!
Then to get the hood to close like OEM, I had to go to a junk yard and find a hinge ball screw (dont knwo if thats the real name) that would fit the OEM hood shocks. I found them off some VW there. To make a long story short, once it was all said and done, it fits, opens, and closes like an OEM hood.

I'll do some more research on it. It could be just minor bumper support vs bumper cover where the placement of some clips are different.

I had a terrible experience with VIS. They straight robbed me of approx a grand!
TERRIBLE! I have done business in the past with no problems, and then this time around they decide to completely screw me. I will never do business with them again.
Your car looks amazing though

Haha I know, but it seems like a lot of manufacturers copy wheel designs from each other. I swear the spoke pattern on the BBS RGR's that I got from you are identical to the wheels on my friend's new BMW E92 w/ the sport package.Originally Posted by Blake P

Just bought my C32. And I am loving it! Drove it through downtown San Francisco today. Sunroof open... magnificent views of the skyscrapers... got the wife by my side...
Does this car do wonders for your personal well being or what?
Ended the day cruise at Twin Peaks. Looking forward to the personalization sequence. Suspension and wheels first. Thanks to all for the great information.
So here are some pics from today.
Miguel
btw... will I be able to use the C32 wheels and tires on my wifes C230? I plan on getting a set of 18's for the C32. Still researching the options.
