Any Thoughts on Blinder or ZR3 Laser Jammers?

Any thoughts on the Blinder or the Escort ZR3 Laser Jammers?

I currently Own a V1. Been driving two years...been caught speeding only once...and the only one time was caught using LASER.

The bottomline is that I hate Cops and I hate Lasers.
Cops dont do anything when you are in real trouble (ie. stolen goods...real crime...etc).
But Cops give you trouble for being a good man.

So since the only time i fell, was to the hands of a Laser gun...
Think it would be nice to instlal on the jammers on a C55??

The jammers will definitely buy you time (a few seconds) when you are hit by a Lidar gun, but you still need to slow down in time so that the cop can get a good reading of your car before you storms away

Nothing
I have done a bit of research myself on these products and more. I am definately going to buy the ZR3. According to tests done in the US, it is the most effective. A couple of my mates have them, and none of them have ever been caught with the ZR3.

I'm definitely interested in getting a laser jammer too as I was hit last night and caught!

However, laser jammers are illegal in CA, so if I have one, I can turn it off right? I thought the cop won't get a reading if he hits you and if he doesn't get a reading, won't he be very suspicious?

The blinders go from 3xx to 5xx dollars depending on how many laser transmitting devices u want. They come with either 2 or 4 i think.

It tells us that when you get hit by LIdar...Slow down..and turn it off...so the cop wont be suspicous...

I really want to get one..but dont know if it will fit or work on my C55

So I'm guessin that once you get hit, your "module" will light up and then you slow down and turn it off so he can get a good reading on you. The whole point is that if he gets you the first time, it give you enough time to slow down, and turn the device off? Is that correct? That sounds like a really good plan but if I were a cop and didn't get a reading on someone I clocked clearly, it would raise my eyebrow a lil....

It definitely draws more attention to you when they're reading comes up as "error" or whatever, but they cant pull you over if they don't have an accurate reading. I just whale on the brakes stop it from jamming and it pops up the speed I slowed down to.

Actually, considering the fact that they're illegal in CA, a cop does have probable cause to pull you over and look for a jammer if he can't get a read on you. Ask EDJ, but I'm pretty sure that's how it would work in CA or any other state where they're illegal. FYI, they're legal in most states that still use radar - most Lidar states have outlawed them.

The good thing about Laser Jammers is that they are legal and they WORK.
They are illegal in some states...including CA i believe.

The Laser Jammers emit Light waves, not radio waves. Transmitting Radio waves requires a License depending on what band and frequency. Radio transmition is under FCC rule. Lasers n stuff are under the Food and Drug admiin....and they allow the transmitting of light waves NOT HARMING THE EYES.

The point is, to Jam the cop using the Lidar on his first reading (it usually takes a couple readings to get a accurate reading on your speed). Your Jammer will alert you that you are being lasered and that is when you slow down and turn off your jammer.

These Jammers go from 3xx to 5xx i think. They need to be installed to the grill/ mesh of your car.

hope this info is helpful.

I use Beltronics Pro RX 75 which is the same as the Escort unit.
The display is hidden in the ashtray. It comes with two laser "shifters" for the front and one for the rear. I only blocked one real attempt by a cop from an overpass trying to get me from behind and radio to a car ahead. The rest of the laser alarms were triggered by new BMWs using the laser based cruise control. Overall I'm happy with this set-up.

I'm going with blinder. However blinder does give jamming codes to the latest guns.

My question is a legal one:

if a cop comes up with a jamming code or cannot get a good read on you (error code) in a state like CA, what can he and what can he not do? can he legally open my hood, look inside, look inside the car? what if he identifies a strange box in the interior grille of my car? what are my rights?

I have a license plate frame jammer that has always worked for me in the past. I have not installed it on the C32 yet though. I have dumbfounded many cops with them sitting on the side of the road scratching their heads and shaking the gun. It never failed.

is it possible to use two radar detectors at once, lets say a V1 and an escort w/laser jamming
