Looking at a used C32 ... need opinions
2002 White C32 with all options including Navi ..
The car looks really clean in pictures (exterior & interior).
29,500 miles
He's asking for $36g ...
One problem ..... Carfax said it had 3 owners. First from Arkansas, second and third from Michigan.
So I asked the salesperson how many owners did this car had and he said:
3 owners. We bought the car with about 7500 miles on it. Sold it to our
customer 5/20/2003. He is in his forty's, he in turn sold it to a friend on 03/18/2004 he is in his early fifties.
Sounds like it's made up to me

03/18/2004 13,468
Currently the car has 29,500 miles on it. That means within' 9 months, the car gained 16,000 miles?!
I'm gonna give a call to their local Benz dealer for the car's service history. Just say the car is running good ..... is it worth buying a used car that had 3 previous owners??
I'm from NY btw ... if things go right I'm gonna fly there to pick up the car and drive it back (10-11 hours)

Hmmmmmmm ...
Pros:
- 2003 (one year newer)
- Mileage (18,000 pretty good)
- Location (20 min away )
Cons:
- Silver (kind of looking for white, black, or blue .. I'm sick of silver
)
- No navigation (although i don't really need one, interior looks better with it)
Either way i'll keep your car in mind. Thanks!

hmmm... I could list the cons on this car (I am NOT interested in selling it really
, 3k+ miles away from NYC, if I was to sell it, it WILL NOT be cheap)... the goods are that... well the pics speak for themselves...

I can see you put a lot of $$ into your car, and it looks nice.
But I like putting toys into my car too ... so I'm looking for a 99% stock C32.
I mean of course if the car has clear sidemarkers that's okay. But i would like to put my own style wheels, spoilers, kits ... etc

Regardless of which model of AMGs you choose, the importance of a thorough pre-purchase check cannot be over-emphasised. These cars run specialised mechanicals which can be very costly to fix; it would be naive to buy them and expect running costs similar to a C180's. However if you prepare to look after them properly that a C32 is car can be truly passionate about for a long time to come.Good luck.

My exhaust is the OEM (Originial Equipment Manufacturer) AMG exhaust as seen on the W203-C55. After my year of research on exhaust options, costs, overall performance and the fact that the exhaust that I ended up installing IS the real thing, it was a no brainer.
I had looked into the other brands, Carlsson, Brabus and other's as well... I even had an entire Carlsson exhaust system shipped however, I ended up returning it and going for the
Since all parts are AMG designed, the system is a direct bolt on from shield plates to pipes, etc, etc. My car is the first car in the USA to have this system retrofitted. I had all the parts directly shipped to me from my main dealer in Germany, although you are in Surich I believe, maybe you can pay a visit to Walter Hagenbuch in Schlieren as he is a good guy that can help you out with all the parts.
