aftermarket brakes

Im currently deciding whether or not to purchase 19 wheels. The only setback is the puny 11.6 inch rear brakes. If i wanted to get 19s, i would also want to shorten the wheel/brake gap. Anybody know any good tuners with good brake systems for front and rear`? i checked brembo's website but i didnt see a kit for the c32.

I'm your man right here for this! I sell either brembo or stoptech. Both brands you can either get a 355mm (14" rotor) front or 332mm front (13" rotor). The rear will be a 328mm (12.9" rotor) with a 4 piston caliper.

Go for the 380mm's in front if looks is what you are after. The Brembo's hub to disk fasteners are noisy.

Hmmm, I have 14'' Brembo kit on the front and do not have any noise issues. Could yours be loose?

I have the StopTech's and the fastening bolts are different than the Brembo's and don't make noise due to their design. I have driven and inspected a E36 M3 with a front and rear Brembo kit. You can wiggle the fastening bolts and washers with your fingers and this "expansion gap" causes a slight metal vibration sound if you listen carefully while driving the car on the street at normal operating temperatures. When the temps increase with aggressive driving or track use, the disk and hat expand at different rates and fill up this gap in theory, but who is listening for this when you are having fun

The car I saw had an older Brembo system on the car, not the new Austin Martin/GT1 caliper and may not have had the latest floating disk technology. The new Gran Turismo kits may have solved this sound problem.

Vadim, what sized pistons are you using in your front 355 caliper? 40/44, 38/42, or 36/40? Are the disks 28, 32, or 34mm thick? Brembo makes a great product. Just a bit pricey compared to the competition.

Actually, we sell the stoptech and brembos for pretty much the same price. So its pretty much up to which brand you like better. The only thing I like better about brembo is that they offer a cross drilled and slotted rotor and stoptech says it to weak for them to make one. I still may get a set of stoptech for my own car oneday though.

With the stock brakes, spacers were required on the SSR GT-3s. No wheel spacers are used in the pics.

You mean the spacers were only required on the front stock right? i remember my old c230 with SSR GT3s, the rear stock caliper was right up to the wheel, i was surprised those huge brakes fit with no spacers.

btw, any chance of some more pics of your car futher away? looks awesome!

Doesn't get much better than that! Love the way the stepped lip helps the discs and caliper fill the space.

What is pricing for one of these packages? Does one perform better than the other. I would rahter have the red brembo caliper, but that's my opinion.

Pricing for a 332mm brembo kit is like 2,579 and a 355mm is 2,999 from us.

The Integra won it's class in the 2003 24 hrs of Spa. We have it set up for Speed World Challange Touring car racing. With the correct brake pads the brake system works very well at the track. I'm not going too talk about the kit prices, but retail price for replacement front discs are $500 each.
