I was at Helms Bros (Bayside, NY) service building picking up my car. I got into my car and spotted this:

Yes there is a chance it could be a C320 Sport.
I just don't see why the "3" and the "2" emblems are crooked when the owner can just rip off the "0".

It is most likely a C230 Sport. Those wheels don't fit on the C32 or the C55 because they won't clear the front brake calipers. The c32 exhaust is a single sided dual tipped exhaust unlike the single sided single tipped exhaust shown in the photo. The c55 exhaust is a dual sided quad tipped exhaust. The letters are crooked as previously mentioned, which does suggest a little creativity with the 2 and 3 in 230 rather than the nice factory spacing of the 3 and 2 in 320.
Hope this solves the mystery, if there ever was one.

I don't understand it. People who notice it are the guys who know what AMG is. The ones that don't notice it have no idea nor care for it. What are the rebadgers trying to do?

I was at the mall and saw a c240 with amg badges on it. Pissed me off. That picture is for sure not an AMG. Wheels exaust the way it sits. I can spot a fake a mile away. I actually saw a great copy of a c55 today leaving the Benz dealership. The exaust was close and the car was lowered, but you can still tell its not the real deal. And we all know just hit the gas and its all over.

Look at how close the letters are on the car, on a real C32 their is alittle spacing between the letters. That car is clearly a fake, maybe he added the badge and went in for a service for his fraud car. I bet those people at helms got a kick out of seeing that poser's car!

C32 AMG
There's a Silver C-Class at University Of California Irvine that has C32 badges also. He has rims a body kit that I think is made by Carlsson. Its a silver C-class and im pretty sure its not a C32. I didnt get a good look at it but it doesnt have the C32/C55 front brakes.
Are you here also?

For all of you with AMG, did anyone debadge their cars. I see a lot of MB's here in the Chicagoland area that have debadged their cars across all models; C, E, S, and maybe 1 or 2 ML's. Their ages range from young to over 50. I guess it's the whole, keep in "clean" look that they were going for. As a matter of fact, my dealer tells me for certain individuals, they want their car debadge before they take delivery.
So the question is, you know you have an AMG but have any of you debadged for the sake of keeping it clean? Just curious.

Why am I a loser for thinking that some guy is an idiot for RE-badging his car as a C32 when it most certainly isnt?
Unless you're being sarcastic you seem to be awfully defensive. Would you happen to be one of these individuals?

I was toying with the idea of getting a C 230 badge and putting that on
