Just bought my C55, wanted to say hi !!
Hi All,
Just pulled the trigger on a C55, black on black, prem. package, lighting package, Command NAV.
First of all, thank you for all the great info on this forum, have been reading for a few weeks and am very grateful for all the info posted here. Great forum!
Was really torn between the new B7 platform S4 and the C55, discounted the M3 because of two doors, 6 cylinders and BMW in general not being my favourite brand.
Having driven the S4 (B6) and the C55, I just could not get over the pure brutal accelaration of the C55. The S4 was quick too, but didnt have the all out no questions asked thrust and power that I found in the C55, it just seemed a little tamer. Would have really loved the Quattro AWD, esspecially here in Chicago but I guess some good snow tires and a judicious right foot should be okay for the bad weather. (I hope :p :p ).
Picking the car up tomorrow and have one quick question regarding that:
How many keys, instruction books,NAV DVD's..etc do I need to look for ? I am sure it will be all there just want to make sure they have everything that comes with it.

Thanks for the warm welcome !
Didnt manage to pick it up today, a little busy at work
. Going to go tomorrow evening to get it, just in time for the weekend. It did arrive this afternoon ( from another local dealer),my dealer said they were getting started on detailing it.
I am also having it debadged, I see a lot of clients during the day and dont want them to think they are paying me too much

Welcome, congrats on the New C55. Just like mine, blk/blk. Amazing car, but not in the winter. I took it out for a spin two nights ago. To make a long story short, I got stuck in the snow. Watching just one wheel spin gets old fast. Then again, three feet of snow fell over boston the past few days and I still have the OEM tires maybe im just a little 
. Lucky though I had two friends who pushed me out. Cant wait for summer 
O btw the flat hood emblem makes the car even stealthier. Lets see some pics!

Hehe, good point ! I am not really concerned about people knowing it is a Mercedes, I would just prefer people took it for a more standard/cheaper c-class e.g a 230 kompressor or something. I know its hard to believe on this forum
but it isn't really that obvious to the average person if there is no badge.STILL havent picked it up by the way, just too busy the last two days, should be able to finally get it home tomorrow.
