C55 Vandalized
Three month old and today i noticed someone tried to force out my right LED rearview mirror. It is still "in place" (they must have been disturbed) but it’s not aligned and while the thieves where trying to steal my rearview mirror, they left a few scratches on the front right door. I’m not happy to say the least 
. Jealous mf what drives this people to ruin private property? I am confident it happened inside my building's private garage during last week's big snow storm. I guess its inevitable but I cant help to get .

Hey its boston...theres always sh*t like this that happens.
My roommate's BMW always gets vandalized...one time some f*cker forced open the gas cover poured sugar down the gas vent (not sure if its the right word)...
but yea..
another time i was walking with him to get his car..and we see two homies sitting on top of his car and we were like WTF??? get the fck off the car....
sigh..well
at least insurance covers vandalism, bbut u gotta file police report and pay ur deductable...
btw..how much are you paying for insurance? and how much deductable??

I even did a few rounds around the garage looking for another C class that was missing led turn signals or mirrors, but none fit the description.
No idea why they didn’t try on another C class instead of a C55.

I am in Chicago and pay about $13-1400 a year, $250 deductible. I have good credit and 0 tickets. This is through my local State farm agent. Just for comparision I called Geico, the people who constantly run ads on how much money you save with them.
What a JOKE !!!! They were three times the price of my State farm quote !

Yo Daniel, sorry to hear that man....didn't u get your front grill kicked in too??? there is some haten around that mission hill area..... I can feel your pain man! My CLK500 I pay around 4.5k for insurance...its a ***** to live in boston... Thank god nothing has majorly happened to my car! Knock on wood!

Guys...for those in the Boston area... just beware of that place called 'RPM MotorSports'... there a guy named 'Orlando'...He's the one who stole both my car and my frd's car. I used to live in Boston and of course, lots of us who love cars bring our babies to a motorsport store to get work done (like exhaust, tires...suspension etc)... And I've been to RPM and AUtoDesign Haus (back years ago though).. Auto Design Haus was awesome (befoe the change of owner)..but RPM is like a 'house of crooks'. Just beware of RPM!

Man, Boston sounds like a rough place to own a Merc. I know few people in the East like having nice cars...not like out here in Cali. I am movin over in a few months to boston from LA. Hope my merc doesn't get trashed. Getting gated parking is also a b*tch in Boston.
Are the scratches deep? Or can they be buffed out?

They are ok, I need to get the car a real nice polish and wax to see which scratches will come out, but one of them wont come out for sure, you can see right down to the metal

I feel for you Darba. Yesterday sometime removed (and did not replace :P) my drivers side side view mirror as well as the casing around the passenger side (might have been interupted in the process of taking the entire assembly) on my c240. Sucks =( happened in the office parking garage where I work, nice area of town, nice office complex...

I am sorry to hear what happened. During the storm alot of cars were damaged due to those *******s trying to steal car stuff. So far, those *******s took 4 audi a4 head light SETs because they could be taken out without opening the hood. they prolly thought the same thing on C55.
But it is drilled with screws from inside no I bet they gave up with all those alarms going nuts. If you need to get a real good paint job in boston go find 'invisible touch inc' in yahoo. The owner Edwin is some character but for what he can do, he is well known among asian people in Boston area. He usually does custom paint jobs, and repairs cars such as Posche 911 tubos, BMW, MB, Audi, Lexus, Vipers,Rolls,etc.
Hope this never happens to any of boston members again.
