C32 Front seems very high.. PICS! HELP!!
Is it me or is the front of my C32 higher than everyone elses. I just put on soem HRE's and the front seems VERRY high. I will try to post pics but I don't know how on this site. The rear is fine and I will prob need to roll the fenders b/c I'm running 265 in the rear. I am kinda upset is there anything I can do to bring the front of the car down. Theres a big 4-5 finger gap in the front and a 2 finger gap in the rear.

I'm not sure how much it'll be to roll your fender. I know for my car, I can use a baseball bat
Depends on what you are looking for. You want indo style drop (riding on chassis) or do you want something a little more sane or what?
I suggest getting new springs and shocks, but that's kinda expensive.

Will rolling the fender cause any long term damage to the car? Also do you think Merecedes is at fault for the front being so high LOL. Dude the front is insanely high.. is it just my car or all C32's....

your car looks fine the way it is...actually those wheels are awsome, they really set your car off with the jet black exterior. most German cars the front will be slightly higher than the rear anyway, you can just notice it more with the new wheels, you'll get used it

First of all, stop listening to ricky, he does not know **** about cars! :p
2nd, u will not need to roll the fenders with 265 tires in the rear unless u slam it.
3rd, what do u expect with stock suspension, just get some lowering springs if you dont want to spend alot lowering the car.

I had the same tire sizes and I had rubbing front and rear. The front was only an issue when I used camber bushings and ran 2.1 degrees of negative camber. The rear rubbed at the flange where the bumper met the rear fender. The car should not rub on the fender lip but the PS2's you have might be wide enough in shape to cause an issue. I know 265 Dunlp Super Sport Race tires rubbed on the rear fender lip and 235's rubber along the front fender lip. Road tires are normally a bit more narrow but the new michelins seem to run fairly wide (they look wide on my E55 as well). The issue is solved very simply and it will not damage the car.
Your car sits like all C32's.... its the SUV AMG package! Always good for the AMG car to sit 1.5 inches higher than a stock C230k!

This was with RENNtech springs and with Carlsson RS Coilovers. The car was never set lower than the RENNtech ride height or within .5 inches of RENNtech height.
The truth is that ride height has nothing to do with rubbing. If the car compresses with the wrong sized tire or with a tire that runs wide, it will rub regardless of how low the car is... I used to make my stock S55 rub in the rear and it was not lowered at all.
A proper wheel upgrade will never rub at all. If you have to keep the car high to prevent rubbing you went wrong in the wheel and tire department.

some have rubbed..
and others have not. In my case, when I had 265 Yokohamas (stock suspension w/ Stock #1 pads) it rubbed and I had to "dremel" off the some of the metal lip (as described various times on the forum) & roll the rear fenders.
I also had (still have) my front passenger wheel rubbing into the front part of the wheel well liner (just behind the passenger fog light). This was the case with even the OEM "SUV" suspension!
lap
btw, your wheels look AWSOMMMME

A C32 in stock form look like a cat that just saw a 200 lb mastiff walk by... all raised up and ready to jump. Trouble is the C32 is not a Jag... ITS AN AMG BENZ!
Never understood the C32's ride height... at lease the E55's sit at a nice level. Not perfect but not a C32. They fixed the C55 and that was a real relief =)
have a good weekend. Bring that C55 to the Rosebowl Saturday morning!
P.S. Buy some RENNtech sprigns

Well, like you said, if its a propor wheel for the car it should not rub. I am assuming these HRE's were made for the C32 and will not rub. If HRE did not use the proper specs then it could explain why it would rub.
Also, I guess its all in the tire your using, but i think benzoamgpower, with renntech springs #1 pads and renntech wheels does not rub.
