c32 Aftermarket Warranty? Crossed up
I'm all crossed up...
I have 41,000 on my C32 and while I still love the car I'm changing careers to something I enjoy more but pays less, at least starting out. Anyway, my factory warranty is up in November and I can't decide what to do with my car. I have sought quotes for an extended warranty and some have come back for a c320 and others, like warrantydirect.com, don't cover any AMG period.
I just had the SC replaced under warranty which is nice, but it makes me leary of going without warranty. The trade in value on these cars seems to be $27/29k while private sale ranges from $31-36k for an '02. I'm thinking about getting a throw away car or an old MB Diesel to beat on...
Anybody know where they have decent warranty specifically for AMG cars?

Looks like a no go for the MB warranty, this is from thier website:

FYI - Finally found a company that writes for the C32, American Mercury quoted me $2295 for 5yr/100k with $100 ded. for the top of the line coverage (named exclusion policy, 7 day loaner, road hazard, etc.). I think that's a pretty good deal, if anybody else wants more info PM me.

Have you checked out Auto Advantage? Has anybody on the forum extended their warranty with them? I was looking for an extended warranty also and was looking for something affordable, which led me to aftermarket warranties.
