C55 Lease is Terrible...
I've obtained a few lease quotes on a loaded C55 with a MSRP of 61,290..... most lease quotes are in the $950/month range with 4k due at signing.... 36months. 15k miles per year...
just got back from BMW, a loaded up 545i with MSRP of 64,450 is leasing out for $750/month with 4k due at signing...
BMW is offering much higher residuals and amazingly low money factors which MB can't come close to in any of their models, AMG or not...
looks like if I'm going to go with the C55, I'll just buy... residual aside, MB should be able to compete with the money factors....

I would never lease a car from DCFS to begin with after they tried to tell me I had to pay more money because I was "under 24, so there's a higher chance of default." I went with a broker I found in the dupont registry who got me a good deal on my car, and an even better deal with a bank. My payment came out to be $300 a month less with $4000 less out of pocket.

i leased a c55 for 6500 down, 830/month. fully loaded (premium, lighting, navi) 21 years old with 775 credit score. its a lot of money but i think i got a great deal. 15K miles, 39 months

that seems like the standard deal the MBUSA is giving out.... no offence, but it's really not a good lease deal... here is a direct comparison of another car I'm considering.....
2005 BMW 545i, with navigation, heads-up display, sport and premium sound packages, satellite radio and window shades with an MSRP of $65,565
$720/month (including tax) for 36 months with 15k miles per year, $5k total due at signing....
this car is $4,000 more expensive, $110 less per month with $1500 less due at signing then the C55...
If I go with the C55 I will definitely buy...

The C55 has similar retail and should have similar residual.

ok I'm laughing right now, I have the 2005 x5 4.4 with all options and I'm paying 790 with 0 down. I also have a 2004 745li with all options adding to be 92,000$ paying 1028 a month with 0 down.
